* With Coconut, you can see the transactions you make in all your relevant business bank accounts, linking them to the mobile app via so-called Open Banking, and have them automatically categorised for us to review and report on each month.
Coconut sadly no longer offers a free service, but it usually beats the alternatives, like setting you up with fully-fledged accounting software like Xero – though that is an option too, if you’d prefer.
We’re hoping to soon make an arrangement where we can offer this to you at a discount from their usual rates, but we’re not linked with Coconut in any other way, so they’ll handle your setup entirely separately.
And if you need a new business account e.g. to help keep your business transactions separate from your personal ones, we’d be happy to offer our recommendations. Not all business bank accounts are made equal…
