1. To ensure our service is appropriate to be advertised to your audience. (We might not, for example, want our services to be advertised alongside highly divisive, political or generally offensive content – if you’re unsure, ask.)
2. To avoid significant overlap in audience between different affiliates
3. So we can periodically review how you promote us. (The Advertising Standards Authority MAY hold us to account for YOUR content, so we review regularly to ensure your content upholds ASA principles e.g. adverts are clearly marked as such and affiliate links in otherwise editorial content are clearly marked as such etc. Basically, you should ensure your content is honest and upfront, but you can review the non-broadcast code yourself here)
